The Impact Café has an informal setting. Inspirational speakers are invited to talk about a variety of impact topics.
This time the theme is impact financing: What is impact financing and how does it work? What makes an impact fund different from another investment. And how do you, as an impact entrepreneur, obtain financing, what do impact investors pay attention to?
We organize this edition in collaboration with Founded in Groningen , Founded in Friesland , Ik Ben Drents Ondernemer and the new Impact East . And we have a great line-up for you!
First of all, Willemijn Verloop (founder Warchild, Social Enterprise NL and Rubio) will provide an introduction as an expert on impact financing: what is impact financing and how does it work? What makes an impact investor different? What do these funds pay attention to and how do they measure the impact of their investment?
Then, under the guidance of moderator Niek Huizenga from Founded in Groningen, we will first have a conversation with the Rabobank Foundation , the NOM and IBDO . The Rabo Foundation is an impact fund that mainly participates in companies that improve labor participation. Ellen Ploeger will explain on behalf of NOM how they want to contribute to social impact as a regional development company. IBDO helps entrepreneurs in Drenthe with their financing issue by linking them to interesting initiatives and parties: Stefan Hager takes you along in this process.
But it does not stop there, in addition to investors, we naturally also want to let entrepreneurs have their say. To this end, we will talk to entrepreneurs who have successfully secured financing, including Mark ter Maat of Koffielust Veenhuizen, who received help from Ik Ben Drents Ondernemer.
