Big congrats are in order for Voys! Dutch financial newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad just announced that the Groningen based telecom provider is once again among the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. This also makes Voys the first organisation in the Northern Netherlands to win the FD Gazelle award a whopping 10 years in a row.
This is the 18th year that Het Financieele Dagblad is handing out the FD Gazellen: the awards for the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. Voys belongs to the medium-sized category of companies awarded this honor. One of the criteria to become a FD Gazelle is at least 20% revenue growth over the last three years, which of course is no longer an easy feat with the Covid pandemic still going strong.
Voys founder Mark Vletter guest in FD Gazellen Podcast
In the run-up to the awards, Mark Vletter, founder of Voys, was a guest in the FD Gazellen Podcast as FD Gazelle of the week. In the episode 'The growth potential of the Northern Netherlands', he explains why Groningen is a great place to be as an entrepreneur: "The combination of working, housing and a healthy life is very well balanced. We have many international colleagues who end up living here and consciously choosing Groningen, because it's such a great place."
Award ceremony in Theater Amsterdam
On Thursday, November 25, the awards will be presented in Theater Amsterdam. Last year, the ceremony took place online, so we’ll have a physical event again this year. During this ceremony the fastest growing companies per region will be announced, and we’ll be sure to congratulate other companies from Groningen!
